My Viking burner clicks but will not light. Is that the igniter?
Usually it is the spark electrode or the module that feeds it, not the burner itself. A burner that clicks is proving the module still fires, so the fault is normally a soaked or cracked electrode, a port blocked by a boil-over, or a valve that is not opening until you hold the knob. All three are bench-level repairs on a Viking range.
The oven runs hotter than the dial says. Can that be adjusted?
Yes, and the first job is to find out which of the two it is. A cavity that is out by ten or fifteen degrees is usually a calibration offset. Out by forty or more, drifting as it heats, or overshooting then crashing, and it is the sensor or the board rather than the setting. We log the cavity against a probe before touching either.
Do you work on built-in and panel-ready Viking refrigeration?
Yes — built-in columns, side-by-side and bottom-freezer units, undercounter drawers and panel-ready installations. Panel-ready is the fiddly one: the unit has to come forward out of the cabinet run and go back without marking the custom panel or the surrounding casework, and that is planned before anything is unscrewed.
What does a visit cost?
A flat $89 service call covers the trip and the full diagnosis, and it is credited against the repair if you approve the work. You hear the price for the repair before anything comes apart, so nothing is opened up on the understanding that we will talk about money afterwards.
Half my kitchen is Viking. Can one visit cover more than one appliance?
It can, and it is worth asking for. Ranges, wall ovens, refrigeration and dishwashers are all on the one list here, so a range that ignites badly and a dishwasher that will not drain can be looked at on the same trip rather than two. Say so when you book and the slot is sized for it.
How late can someone come out, and when is the phone answered?
Visits run 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days, which covers a Valley evening after work. The line itself is answered 24/7, so an appliance that dies at eleven at night can have a slot held before anyone opens the shop in the morning. The booking page also takes a slot at any hour.
